The three central monotheist powers that dominate the world have set back thousands of years of scientific development simply because the bases of science directly contradict the ones of religion. Giving more importance to fantastical, fictional and illogical explanations over rational and logical facts. These religions only approve of science if it is working on its favor, which is the case with Islamism that supports astronomy, geography, optics and math all because they provide better knowledge for the location of their mecca in relation to the stars and the strategic locations for their massive pilgrimages, and for the construction of calendars for their religion. However this religions directly fight all the scientific discoveries that go against their nature. Being the case the Christianity and the Catholicism, which throughout history have fought and censored everything that isn’t even contradicting or attacking their doctrine, all because the bible is supposed to contain everything humans need to now. A clear example was the persecution of Galileo for his heliocentric theory, on which the earth revolves around the sun. This theory provided the explanation for the proper functioning of our galaxy and our nature, but it contradicted the church in the sense that the earth, and therefore the church, were not in the center of the universe anymore, proving wrong the bibles allegations about being the center of life.
These explains the gigantic set back in scientific knowledge, given that the only way people such as Galileo could research logical explanation for matter was illegally, dangerous, and extremely difficult because of the scarcity their own resources. Concluding that the three principal monotheistic religions have affected thousands of years of development and evolution for the need of upholding a lie that has the power to control humanity by dominating their thoughts and behavior.
